Serving Brentwood, Belle Meade and Green Hills Areas of Nashville TN
At Devine Dentistry, we pride ourselves on offering elite dental care along with unparalleled customer service to our patients. To keep up with the changing trends in dentistry, and to be sure that we provide only the best service, our team remains dedicated to continuing education. We are excited to announce that two of our team members, Carly, our office manager, and Lyndee, one of our dental hygienists, have become Fellows with the American Association of Dental Office Management (FAADOM). Here’s what this achievement means, and how it will enhance your patient experience with your Nashville area dentists.
Achieving Fellow at the American Association of Dental Office Management
To become an FAADOM, Carly and Lyndee both were required to complete 16 hours of DALE Foundation Modules, which included a focus on accounts receivables, human resources, and financial reporting, along with various other webinars. Additional requirements include completing 31 AADOM-approved continuing education hours. But, the work doesn’t stop there. Maintaining the status of FAADOM requires participants to complete at least 12 hours of continuing education annually, as well as adhere to the AADOM’s strict Code of Conduct. Carly also is the vice president of the AADOM’s local chapter here in Nashville, which provides a network for other Fellows to communicate and grow professionally.
We believe that having achieved FAADOM, our team members can better serve you, our patients. Being a Fellow provides benefits such as having an entire network of like-minded associates who also practice dentistry with a “patient first” mentality. Being able to communicate and collaborate with other Fellows means that we can confirm we are using the “best practices” for our patients.
Here is what Carly has to say about her first experience during the AADOM conference that was held here in Nashville.
“After attending my first conference in Nashville, I was hooked! The level of camaraderie is unbelievable, and the speakers are incredibly knowledgable and approachable. The ADDOM community really makes you feel at home, and that you have found your tribe. For me, becoming a Fellow meant furthering myself as an office manager, as well as an individual. The dedication and balance it took were coming into the office on my off days not to work on the office, but to work on myself, and my goals. This achievement represents a commitment to myself, our team, our patients, and our community to be the best leader and teammate that I can be. Having multiple team members with this distinction allows our practice to grow and thrive, and, in turn, our patients will have access to the most knowledgeable administrative team that is in their corner.”
We are so proud to announce that Carly became a Fellow in 2016 and Lyndee became a Fellow July 19, 2019. For our current or new patients, you can be assured to receive elite dental care and enhanced patient experience from the moment you first call our office to book your appointment, and beyond. We believe that continuing education isn’t about clocking time for the required hours each year, but more about growing so that we can work together as a team to provide the best patient experience.
